I use my home studio for working on my own art projects, but also as a classroom for children and adults. The studio is located in Arlington, MA, 15 minutes driving from Harvard Square, with easy access to public transportation. We gather in small groups, drink tea, chat and explore various art techniques and media: acrylic and watercolor painting, botanical drawing, fundamentals of realist drawing, needle felting… I have all the art supplies: materials, easels, mannequins and even plaster busts.
Group classes for children run on a regular basis, and are offered year round. Each session meets weekly. The classes at the studio are available on weekdays in the mornings (for preschoolers and homeschooling kids), after school and also on Sundays. Some of after school classes are taught in different locations through community education system, and in partnership with other studios (see the schedule). For school vacations additional morning and afternoon lessons may be organized upon request.
Sculpting, needle felting and doll-making workshops are not included in the regular schedule. Please see the News page for information about the upcoming events. For these, we meet for 1 or 2 sessions, that are 1.5 – 2.5 hours long, coffee/snack break included. Such workshops usually happen on weekends.
Please contact me at email@example.com for more information about the cost of the tuition, private one-on-one lessons, and the schedule.
